Amy Bradley is Missing Mini-Series
Amy Bradley Has Missed Follow the horrifying cruise story of a family’s nightmare – the 1998 disappearance by Royal Caribbean of Amy Bradley, 23 years old. The case is riddled with mystery and conflicting witness reports, but also filled with heartbreaking hope. The three-part docuseries is captivating and draws viewers in to the Bradley family’s pain and determination. Then some interesting theories are put into play. Importantly, the series glosses important developments, including the massive fraud scam perpetrated by Frank Jones who defrauded a family of thousands. The series is compelling but ultimately comes across as curated drama rather than investigative journalism. It’s worth watching, but it isn’t the complete truth. Netflix offers it.
My Oxford Year
My Oxford Year It tugs at old heartstrings. Sofia Carson is Anna, an ambitious young American who gives up her Wall Street ambitions for an Oxford education, and falls in love with Jamie, the poetry professor. (Corey Mylchreest). You can imagine cobbled streets and rain-soaked kisses. The setting is beautiful and the soundtrack is powerful, but there’s a sad undertone. The breezy romcom that begins slowly turns into an emotional tale. The film is polished and idealised but that’s what makes it so appealing. There is warmth, beauty and soul. Netflix has it.
