Alicante continues to experience higher-than-usual temperatures The Costa Blanca South continues to enjoy mild, stable weather as we enter spring.

On Monday, the 23rd of March, daytime temperatures in coastal areas again reached highs to mid-20s, confirming a pattern that has been consistent in recent days. Short periods of warm weather are not uncommon at this time of the year. However, these temperatures, which continue to rise, are slightly higher than seasonal norms.

Sky conditions remain partly overcast, but there will be extended periods of sunshine during the day. There may be some cloud formation later on, but the forecast indicates a low chance of rain. This allows for a continued settled condition across most of the province.

No weather advisories have been issued. Light winds and moderate humidities contribute to an overall comfortable climate. This stable weather supports normal activities across the region. No disruptions to local or transport services are expected.

The persistence of warm temperatures can be observed in towns along the Costa Blanca South including Pilar de la Horadada and Orihuela Costa. Residents and tourists are experiencing weather more characteristic of late spring or early spring than the usual March transitional variability.

In this period, high-pressure systems can dominate and limit the atmospheric instability. These conditions are characterized by clearer skies and reduced wind activity, as well as a more consistent daytime temperature.

Forecasts indicate that the current stable weather pattern will likely continue for a short time, maintaining temperatures above average in Alicante. No significant changes are anticipated in the near future, although there may be occasional variations.

Alicante continues to enjoy a pleasant climate as the month of March advances, and finally leaves behind the rains.
