Alicante: Fake cosmetician’s scars on patient’s skin after botched surgery

A BOGUS Alicante-based cosmetician left a scar on a woman’s face when she injected her with hyaluronic.

The Policia Nacional arrested a 43-year old woman after the patient made a complaint

The fake medic was charged with fraud and bodily harm as well as workplace intrusion.

COSMETIC COSMETICAL PROCEDURE

The victim said she heard about the ‘doctor’ via a social media platform which stated that she was fully qualified.

The police discovered that she did not have the qualifications or training required to practice aesthetics in Spain.

She did also not have the right to work at home.

Her client paid €1,200 for the botched procedure, despite being suspicious about the hygienic quality of the surroundings for such an operation.

She suffered swelling in her lips, mouth and face within days. This prevented her from eating for a whole month.

Her face was also scarred by the operation.

The Policia Nacional reminds people to seek medical attention and procedures only from medical centres accredited by the government and professionals certified to do so. This will help to prevent serious harm to their health.
