The group of four friends who recreated lively market stalls from Albox’s Tuesday weekly market won the competition. Best Costume Award Albox Carnival 2025

Calling yourself Los de Todos los Martes They paid tribute to many families who have spent decades selling goods on the local market. Their nostalgic and community-focused costume earned them the top prize of €500.

Albox Carnival groups awarded over €1,700 in prizes.

Most Original Costume Award went to Los Cornudos Felices (The Happy Cuckolds), humorously portraying the famous mechanical bulls that are seen at fairs.

The group that won the award for largest group was Los Bolos Traviesos (The Mischievous Balling Pins) boasts an impressive 65 members. Additionally, Peña Baile Kronos received the Best Performance award, with €500 presented by the Mayor of Albox, Maria del Mar Alfonso.

Children’s categories Los Gummy Friends The largest group of participants won the award. Reinas del Mar The Best Children’s performance was awarded to (Queens of the Sea).

The awards ceremony took place directly after the Grand Carnival Parade which attracted a huge crowd this year. More than 15 local groups dressed in various creative and humorous costumes took part.

The Albox Town Hall awarded over €1,700 in prizes to the participating groups.
