After a mass brawl in a Mallorca tourist restaurant, Brits are facing attempted murder charges

Guardia Civil arrested two British men for attempted murder after a large brawl in Palmanova on Sunday morning.

The Brits (aged 24 and 33) have also been accused of causing injuries and disturbing public order.

A broken glass bottle caused non-life-threatening injuries to three victims.

Around 1.30am, passersby alerted the Guardia Civil to a mass fighting that was taking place inside the Palmanova restaurant.

Officers saw a British bloodied man lunging and brandishing an ejected glass bottle at the people around him.

Officers seized the gun to stop any further injuries and subdued the man..

Two customers and two employees were assaulted by the Briton and his companion, plus two other individuals who fled.

Three victims were taken to Son Espases Hospital for stitches on several open wounds.

One person suffered cuts on the neck and head, and the other had injuries to the arms and legs.

There are no details on the court appearances for the Brits, nor has the reason behind the brawl been revealed.

There is also no information on the men detained or if the Guardia Civil will be making any additional arrests.
