Ada’s Valentine’s Day Dog Walk: Share some love and save a dog’s life

The Estepona charity ADANA invites the community to swap the traditional Valentine’s Day box of chocolates for a fuzzy ball of love, a pair of walking boots and a pair of walking socks.

On Saturday, 14 February, the shelter will host its “Fall in Love, Save a Life” Valentine’s Day Dog Walk, This event is a wonderful way to give their rescue dog the exercise, attention, and visibility they need.

Enjoy a scenic walk for a good cause and share some love with those in need

The event kicks off at 11am, with the group gathering at Frankie’s Bar on the Paseo Marítimo in Sabinillas. The pack will continue along the coast until they reach the picturesque Duquesa Port. The invitation is open to all dog owners and those who miss the company of their four-legged friends.

ADANA wants to find enthusiastic volunteers willing to “spend a little love” with the shelter dogs. They can do this by taking them on a walk in a group. These rescue animals will benefit from the opportunity to socialise with each other, enjoy the smells and sights of the coast, and leave their kennels.

How do we get involved in the project?

It is easy to participate and everyone can do it. A contribution of €5 per person is requested before the walk begins, with all proceeds going directly toward the care and rehoming of the animals at the shelter.
