The Estepona-based ADANA dog charity is inviting Costa del Sol animal lovers to participate in two festive fundraising activities.
First, there is the first. Charity Dinner taking place at Los Arcos Bar & Restaurant in Benavista on Friday 22 November at 7pm. Pro Reno Marbella is sponsoring the event, which promises to be a fun evening with good food and live entertainment.
Guests can enjoy a welcome beverage, a two course meal, a charity auction, and live entertainment. Tickets cost €25 per person, with all proceeds going directly to the charity’s shelter in Estepona. Bookings are essential, as space is limited. To reserve your place call +34 618254622.
The festive spirit continues on Sunday, 24 November with ADANA’s annual Christmas Fair. The event will take place in Estepona at the Palacio de Congresos from 10:30am-4pm.
Children can take part in festive activities, and meet Santa Claus. Visitors can also browse through a variety of stalls that sell handmade crafts, homemade gifts, and Christmas treats. A raffle, a tombola and live shows will be held throughout the day. Tickets are €3 per person with dogs and children going free. All funds raised from the event will be used for the care of the animals at ADANA’s shelter, which is heavily dependent on donations and volunteerism.
ADANA has been saving, rehabbing and rehoming dog along the Costa del Sol since more than 30 year. The shelter in Estepona is home to dozens of dogs, many of whom are waiting for loving homes.
The organizers of both events are appealing to the community for support. They promise a festive atmosphere and a fundraising event.
