ACE SHIN Shelter loves Japi’s heartfelt mural

The mural artist Antonio, or Japi as he is also known, surprised the ACESHIN community animal shelter, in Mijas, with a colorful gift to honor the volunteers who care for the dogs and cats.

Japi stated, “I approached ACE SHIN for this container to be transformed into a voice of those who most need it.” Every small act—whether adopting, donating, or simply walking a dog—can mean the difference between a life of waiting and one of thriving.”

He continued, “A wall speaks, and art inspires action.” Your contribution is important, no matter how little. Japi took his message to Instagram and encouraged his followers to donate, adopt or volunteer at the animal shelter.

ACE SHIN has been thrilled by the beautiful artwork that now graces their refuge’s entry. Marti from ACE SHIN said, “A huge thanks to the talented Antonio who created this breathtaking piece for every abandoned and abuse dog and cat. He has also painted murals for local charities. Please share the word about this remarkable artist—it would mean the world to us!”

Japi (or Antonio) has earned local acclaim with his stunning loggerhead tortoise mural in Fuengirola. The painting reflects a species that is increasingly seen along the South Coast. Costa del Sol’s rising star as an artist and animal advocate has made him a popular icon.
