The following are some of the ways to get in touch with each other A serious morning accident has caused a woman to suffer multiple leg fractures and the driver is shaken.
The woman, who was in her 30s, was severely injured when she was run over and hit by a bus in the Malaga bus terminal at 7.30am Thursday morning. Emergency services transported her to hospital while Policia Local opened an investigation.
The 112 Andalucía emergency service received several calls alerting them that a bus had struck a pedestrian inside the station.
Malaga Local Police officers and Paramedics responded immediately.
The woman was transported by ambulance to Regional University Hospital of Malaga where she is still hospitalised due to fractures in her lower extremities.
Early investigations indicate that the bus had been turning in the manoeuvring area when it hit her.
She fell down and one of her legs was passed by the wheel.
The vehicle was operating the Malaga–San Pedro Alcántara–Ronda line and had arrived next to the Vialia María Zambrano station before moving towards a rest area.

The incident took place in an area that was closed to pedestrians and reserved for buses.
‘She crossed through the bus maneuvering yard. She had not yet reached the platform and crossed the yard. A security guard told Malaga Hoy that it was forbidden to walk through the yard. It would be like walking on the road.
Two women in the vicinity reportedly tried to warn her but she was wearing headphones so did not react.
There’s a place you can’t even see. Another worker said to Malaga Hoy that it was still dark when they turned the car at 7am.
“The front left wheel ran over her.” “Her leg was badly damaged,” the guard told Malaga Hoy in an interview.
She was holding my hands, sitting up occasionally, and screaming at random. He added that she was “conscious, but very distressed”.

The driver of the bus, who, according to eyewitnesses, drove slowly, was visibly upset by what happened.
‘I was going at a low speed, but a collision with a bus, with the inertia it carries, is costly.’
The Traffic Accident Investigation Unit (Malaga Local Police) is currently reviewing the security camera footage to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the accident and taking witness statements.
