The incident began when the hotel employee reprimanded the son of the tourist for allegedly stealing an stuffed animal out of a vending-machine.
When he approached the boy, he said that if a child had a toy he should give it back. His parents then began to criticize the waiter.
They claimed that the animal had always been theirs and that he was to apologize to their son.
The father of the boy punched him in the face without any apology.
The Guardia arrested a tourist under a charge for assault.
