Spanish footballer hospitalised in Greece after dog bites his genitals

A dog bit the genitals of a Spanish footballer in Greece, resulting in his hospitalisation.

Local media reported that a FORMER Barcelona player was taken to hospital after a wild dog bit his genitals.

Carles Perez is a 27-year-old footballer who plays for the Greek side Aris Thessaloniki. Carles was attacked by a stranger while walking his dog.

Perez, who is Catalan by birth, was trying to protect his pet dog when the canine turned its attention on Perez’s crown jewelry.

The Barcelona academy product spent more than 24 hours in the hospital after suffering serious genital injuries.

Six stitches were made to his privates.

Perez will not be playing in the second leg of Aris Thessaloniki’s Europa Conference League qualifying round tonight against Azerbaijani side Araz-Nakhchivan.
