Body of man, 30, discovered with multiple stab wounds near Costa del Sol village

A body with multiple stab-wounds was discovered near Costa del Sol Village.


Multiple stab wounds were found in the chest of a body discovered on Monday. It is believed that this man was stabbed with a blade.

The body, which was discovered in El Borge in Axarquia, belongs to an unidentified man who looks about 30 years old. 

According to an Olive Press source, residents of El Borge do not believe that the victim is from their town or Almachar (a town nearby).

Police is investigating the exact circumstances surrounding his death

On Monday, around 6pm, a person called the emergency services to report that they had found a dead body in ‘Cruce de Baloja’ near the MA-3114 road. 

The body showed signs of decomposition and it is believed the victim died last weekend.

The Guardia Civil is still trying to identify the man who had also marks on his wrists that led investigators to believe he was handcuffed.

The circumstances of the discovery have not been disclosed.
