A-7 closed passing Torremolinos due to dramatic accident

A serious accident caused the closure of the A-7 near Torremolinos.

The incident was caused by the collision of a lorry and a bus at km 229 of the motorway, according to Emergencias 112 Andalucía.

Around 12.10pm the 112 Andalusia Emergency Service began receiving several calls from people requesting assistance at the accident scene, which had already caused a major traffic jam. The 112 coordination room immediately dispatched the Guardia Civil, Ambulance Services and Firefighters to the scene.

As well, according to reports from the DGT, strong traffic delays are being caused from km 229.27 to km 228.16, decreasing towards Cádiz. This incident also led to the closure of the entire road. There were no reports of injuries at the time this article was published.

Churriana is affected, as are the approaches to the airport, and the traffic in the city of Torremolinos and its surroundings.
