AIR Canada will be launching new direct flights from Toronto and Montreal to Tenerife, bringing a new wave of winter travel.
Air Canada wants to improve connectivity between North America, and Tenerife with a new three-weekly service at Tenerife South Airport. This will run from October until April.
Flights from Toronto will depart on Thursdays and Sundays, with returning flights on Mondays and Fridays – starting from October 25.
The flights in Montreal will begin on October 31 and run on Saturdays, with return flights on Sundays.

The airline is promoting Tenerife as a destination that passengers must visit.
In the last year, more than 38,000 visitors from North America and the United States arrived in Tenerife.
Arrivals to the US have almost doubled since 2019.
Tourism officials in the region say that the new flights are a great way to bring North American visitors and residents alike to the island.

The regional government of Tenerife says that the agreement is part of an overall push to improve air connections with international markets.
Tourism chiefs believe the new routes can help Tenerife become a major Atlantic hub in North America.
