Primera RFEF: Antequera CF edged out late on in dramatic five-goal thriller

Primera RFEF – Antequera CF edges out in dramatic five goal thriller

The representatives of Malaga province endured a tough round of Primera RFEF matches as all three teams lost on the road.

Antequera CF, Marbella FC, and Juventud de Torremolinos all suffered defeats that dented their respective hopes heading into the final stretch of the season.

Atlético B 3-2 Antequera CF

Antequera suffered the most dramatic setback, conceding twice late on to fall 3-2 against Atlético B on Sunday.

The reserves of Madrid were trailing 2-1 at the end of stoppage time. The game became chaotic at the end.

Antequera had nine players after two red cards and two penalties.

The team is still within striking distance of the play-offs, but this defeat has slowed their momentum, and they are now in the middle of the table.

Hércules 2-0 Marbella FC

Later in the evening, Marbella’s struggles continued as they went down 2-0 away to Hércules, a result that further damages their survival hopes.

They were competitive during the majority of the game, but conceded twice in the second half which proved decisive.

After the break, they were unable mount a reaction and remain in the relegation area.

As time is running out, it’s becoming more and more important for them to make a quick turnaround in order to maintain their hopes of remaining in the division.

Gimnàstic 2-0 Juventud de Torremolinos

Juventud de Torremolinos were also beaten, falling 2-0 at Gimnàstic on Saturday after holding firm for long periods.

After a first-half and second-half battle, they conceded after about 30 minutes.

Chasing an equaliser left them exposed, and Gimnàstic added a second goal in the final minute to seal the result.

The team is still in a good position despite their defeat.
