Luxury camping resort planned for Costa del Sol

A luxury camping resort is planned on the Costa del Sol

Outdoor enthusiasts will have a new place to escape in Andalucia.

Pull out your tents and prepare for Spain’s newest ‘pitch’ for outdoorsy fun as the Costa del Sol is set to open a high-end camping resort.

Alannia Costa del Sol is a project that offers a combination of outdoor activities with modern comfort.

The site will be 77,000 square metres and span between Velez Malaga town centre, Caleta de Velez, and the Velez-Malaga city center.

The resort will have 214 bungalows, 110 camping pitches and a lagoon spa. It will also feature sports facilities, restaurants, supermarkets, swimming pools and a dedicated area for events.

The resort offers visitors a variety of nature-based activities, including themed zones and green areas that are integrated into the landscape.

It is estimated that the project will create 60 construction positions and more than 180 seasonal jobs once it opens to the public.

Local businesses could also benefit from increased demand for services, with the overall economic impact expected to exceed €20 million annually.
