A new exhibition of the art of Argentinian Alejandro Hermann has opened at Hospital Recoletas Salud Marbella. Hermann has lived in Marbella over 30 years.
The exhibition is a collaborative initiative between the hospital and the Fundación [H]ARTE aims to make hospital environments more humane and welcoming for patients, staff, and visitors.
Eleven Hermann paintings are now on display in the common areas of the hospital, so that patients and staff can enjoy them.
At the opening ceremony, Carmen Rodríguez, manager of Recoletas Salud Marbella, praised the initiative as a key step toward creating a warmer, more pleasant hospital experience. Recoletas Salud Marbella is proud to have achieved this great success, which shows our commitment to be more than just a health-care facility. “We also want to bring the arts closer to our patients and promote culture,” she said.
The Fundación [H]ARTE is led by Tamara Kreisler who has over 25 years experience in the arts world. ARTE aims to improve patients’ hospital experiences and enhance their well-being through art. Both Rodríguez and Kreisler spoke to the privilege of featuring Alejandro Hermann In this exhibition. Hermann was born in Buenos Aires Argentina and has exhibited work in Spain and Europe in both collective and private exhibitions.
Hermann has spent more than 40 year exploring different styles, themes, techniques and materials. He invites the viewer into a spiritually and emotionally introspective journey. His art is intended to inspire reflection and evoke inner states of balance, peace, and contemplation.
This will be the second exhibition in the hospital’s ongoing collaboration with Fundación [H]The second episode of ARTE features Hubertus von Höhenlohe.
The exhibition is open to all for four months and offers patients and hospital visitors the opportunity to experience art in a unique way during their stay. The exhibition is open to all on Calle Maestra Doña Carola, 8, Marbella.
