Local Police in Granada city closed off Calle Aljibe del Trillo in the city’s historic Albaicín area after the wall of a house collapsed on Tuesday 10 February at around 10pm.

The Granada Fire Brigade said that there was no danger of more falls. They believe that the collapse is due to the recent storms that brought heavy rain.

Residents of the house, and the buildings surrounding it, did not have to be evacuated. However the road is still inaccessible. You can enter and leave the street from an area that is a bit higher than the place where the landslide happened.
