The Malaga Guitar Experience in Torremolinos Auditorium


The Costa del Sol is about to resonate with the sound of six strings as the Malaga Guitar Experience 2026 strums off this weekend, making the Príncipe de Asturias Municipal Auditorium into a wild centre for guitar enthusiasts, artisans, and music nerds.

From Friday, February 13 until Sunday, January 15, this cultural and musical festival is free to enter. It includes a major luthier show, as well as workshops, lectures, demonstrations and an incredible lineup of concerts. The event is described as a celebration that celebrates contemporary guitar craftsmanship. It also features a variety of musical styles ranging from rock and jazz to flamenco.

Handcrafted instruments, amps, pedals & meeting famed luthiers

Exhibition area will feature handcrafted guitars, amplifiers, pedals and accessories. Attendees can meet luthiers and try gear, as well as learn from them. Masterclasses, discussion, and a free workshop for children on Sunday are all part of the educational activities.

There are a wide variety of national and international artists on the programme. Admission is free up to capacity. Headliners include Spanish rockers Los Deltonos; American blues/rock guitarist Eric Sardinas; and the Vargas Blues Band led by Javier Vargas.

  • Friday, February 13, 2019 Los Hermanos Dalton at 8.30pm, Ricardo Marín Trío (featuring Ricardo Marín, Anye Bao, and Paco Bastante) at 10pm, and Los Deltonos closing at 11.30pm.
  • Saturday, February 14, 2019 El Zurdo at 7.30pm, the amazing Suzette & More + Noemí Moncrief at 8.30pm, Fuzz Kamikazes at 10pm, and Eric Sardinas at 11.30pm.
  • Sunday, February 15, 2019 Family-friendly activities and afternoon sessions featuring local acts such as Rock Factory Band.

Whether you’re a seasoned musician, a budding luthier, an addict to buying more add-ons to your guitar collection, or simply love live music, the Malaga Guitar Experience offers something for everyone—all at no cost (if you can resist buying another effects pedal).
