The programme will start with workshops for children suffering from rare diseases, at Le Cordon Bleu Madrid on 9 February and at Bodegas elmio moro in Valladolid 16 March.
Anantara villa Padierna is hosting a further workshop on April 20 at Benahavis.
The initiative will culminate with a charity dinner at Benahavis, which will feature a tasting menu designed by Malaga’s Michelin-starred chef, with proceeds going to FEDER, Spain’s Federation for Rare Diseases.
Francisco Salado of the Malaga ayuntamiento said the event was a demonstration of the power of gastronomy as a catalyst for social change.

“ChefsForChildren demonstrates how gastronomy, as a tool of social awareness, can be a powerful one.
“It’s a project that combines talent, solidarity and commitment to children, while reinforcing Málaga’s image as a first-class gastronomic and socially responsible destination,” he said.
