Fugitive Russian mafia mobster arrested on Costa Blanca after Italian court gave him long jail term

Father ‘confesses’ to killing boy, 13, who was playing video games with his son as police keep ‘open mind’ in Spain

A 48 YEAR OLD man has confessed that he murdered a 13 year old boy in Sueca, while he was playing video games on his computer with his son.

On Saturday, Alex, the boy’s name, was at the home of the man.

Juan Francisco was visibly shaken and had blood stains all over his clothes when he reported to the Guardia Civil.

The investigation is still ongoing to determine what happened and if the man was covering up for his son.

Neighbours described Juan Francisco as ‘calm’ and very polite’.

Alex was a schoolmate of his son, with both families said to be ‘respected’ in Sueca and who have known each for a long time.

Drama unfolded around 5.30pm while the boys were playing videogames.

Sources close to the investigation have confirmed the information. El Mundo Newspapers suggest that the incident may have been caused by an argument between two teenagers.

There are two possible scenarios: either Alex’s friend murdered him and wanted to hide it, or the parent of his friend killed him.

Before he turned himself in, a man took his son into his grandparents’ home.

Alex was confirmed dead by officers when he returned with the Civil Guard to his home. The Civil Guard found injuries and stab marks on Alex’s body.

A DNA test is pending on at least one knife that was removed from the scene as a possible murder weapon.

On Monday, an autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause for Alex’s death.

Sueca has declared a two-day mourning period.
