Thieves Distracted Travellers In Well Planned Robberies At Spain's Valencia Airport

Amsterdam drug mule is busted by airport police in Spain, with a kilogram of heroin hidden in 100 separate bags.

A DRUG mule flew from Amsterdam, Spain to Valencia and swallowed more than 1.1 kilos heroin to elude authorities.

On January 12, a 37-year old man was arrested at Valencia Airport for drug trafficking.

After receiving information that the mule could be a drug smuggler, the Policia Nacional found him on an inbound flight.

The officer identified the traveller when he stepped off the plane.

He admitted to having swallowed ‘several’ bags containing heroin to try avoid detection.

The man was transported to a hospital for tests, and then the drugs were removed.

The 102 bags, weighing 1.14 kg each, were a shocking discovery.

He was lucky that none of the containers split. This would have almost certainly killed him.

The nationality of the man was not revealed and he was sent to jail after his court appearance.

Policia Nacional investigations are continuing.
