Albanian burglary gang stalked wealthy residents on the Costa del Sol for days – before donning rubber masks and wigs to break into their homes

A gang of Albanians, wearing rubber masks with wigs and wigs, broke into the homes of wealthy Costa del Sol citizens after stalking them for days.

Latex masks, fake hair and other disguises were used by criminals to break into luxury homes and steal goods worth tens or thousands of Euros.

The gang watched Malaga’s wealthy and powerful to find out their routines and addresses.

The Guardia Civil reported that, after obtaining this information, the thieves entered these people’s homes and stole jewelry, cash, and valuable objects.

The police began an investigation after hearing of multiple home burglaries. They wanted to identify the criminals who were difficult to recognize due to their disguises.

Five arrests were made as a result of this investigation.

Police also investigated 11 more individuals.

During the investigation the police also discovered that the gang used several properties around Marbella, Mijas and other areas as their bases.

During the police search of the criminals’ properties, cash and valuable items were discovered.

The address was searched with the required judicial authorization.

What was found surpassed all expectations; hidden in the properties was €39,465 in cash, three firearms, ammunition, two stolen high-end vehicles, seven bent number plates, and expensive watches from high end brands.

The total value of these recovered goods was more than €80,000.

The Mijas Guardia Civil carried out the successful searches and investigations within the Malaga police HQ.

This criminal network was dismantled. It operated on the Costa del Sol.
