Sami James from the Costa del Sol will perform a spectacular evening of live music at Ona Alanda Club on Saturday, 20th December in Elviria. The bilingual singer-songwriter, known for his evocative urban poetry and soulful indie rock sound, will perform a special acoustic session starting at 7.30pm – the perfect pre-Christmas treat for music lovers.

Sami, a Costa del Sol native born to an English mother & Argentinian dad, is the heart of the cultural fusion in the region. Sami, who began playing guitar at age 14, was self-taught. He honed this skill in Brighton before returning to Andalucia. His performances are a combination of instinctive songwriting, influences from Oasis and U2, David Gray and The Pogues. This creates a unique “rock without restraint, a pop with soul vibe” that resonates with audiences.
Fresh from recording with top UK producer
Sami continues to grow in popularity. Having recently completed recording sessions at Steelworks Studios in Sheffield with Grammy-winning producer Eliot Kennedy – the hitmaker behind Take That, Spice Girls, and Bryan Adams – he’s on the cusp of major breakthroughs. Sami said: “I plan to release the first single of my new tracks that I recorded in Steelworks Studios, Sheffield in February.”
