Marbella has announced the fourth edition of its popular ‘Marbella Conduce’ programme, designed to support young residents in obtaining a driving licence. The scheme provides a €100 grant to successful applicants for car, motorcycle, lorry, or trailer licences, reinforcing the city’s commitment to youth development and employability.

Councillor Alejandro González, who presented the programme, explained that eligibility is limited to residents aged 18 to 35 who have obtained their licence between 1 June 2024 and 30 December 2025. All applicants must be in possession of a valid bank card and meet their social and tax obligations.

The scheme is designed to cover a large number of licence categories. These include A1, B, A+E+E+E+E+E+E+E+E+E+E+E+E+E+E+E+C, D1, and D1+E+E+E+E+E. “Driving licences are essential for professional development and access to the job market,” said González, emphasising the practical benefits of the initiative.

Extra points can be awarded to applicants who meet certain criteria. The National Youth Guarantee and long-term workers receive three points extra, while individuals or families with multiples children, job seekers in general, and those with disabilities are each awarded two points. The scheme will then prioritize those who are most in need.

The councillor encouraged local driving schools and young people who are eligible to apply to the programme before the deadline. The application is now open. the city’s electronic headquartersIt is easy to apply and access.

With the ‘Marbella Conduce’ grant, young residents can gain not only a driving licence but also greater independence and improved career prospects, underlining the city’s ongoing support for its youth.
