FIVE people have been arrested after nearly €500k of anti-ageing cream was stolen from a lorry in Alicante while the driver was asleep.
Policia Nacional has not yet found the shipment. They are looking to see if there were other individuals involved in the theft.
The Italian truck driver stopped his truck on the Alicante Industrial Estate for the night between October 20/21.

The cargo he was carrying had vanished when he woke in the morning.
The merchandise consisted of 25,680 bottles of anti-ageing cream valued at €479,265.
The Alicante logistics company was handling an international shipment.
The creams were made by a company located in Aldaia (Valencia), and they were bound for Portugal.
The driver said that he had checked the security lock before going to bed at 11pm.
The robbers did not disturb his slumber when they removed the lock.
The security and traffic cameras provided a clear picture of what took place with the two stolen vehicles used in this robbery.
The thieves used a van to transport facial cream stolen and a car to conduct surveillance.
The van was loaded in just 10 minutes with boxes of facial lotion.
The van that was stolen was recovered a few days after it was stolen, about 50 km away from Callosa de Segura.
Five of the five suspects involved in the robbery were identified and arrested. They have all been released on bail.
