DRUG traffickers were ‘caught in the act’ unloading a narco boat transporting hashish worth €7.8m.
The vessel sailed into the idyllic cove of La Granadella in Javea, under cover darkness.
This is one of the largest narcotics seizures in the last few years on the Costa Blanca.

Three Spaniards were arrested by the Guardia Civil, and jailed for a Denia Judge.
The accused have been charged with drug dealing, resisting arrest, and belonging to a criminal group.
Detainees in the area claimed to be fishing and denied any involvement with drug smuggling.
Five other gangs have been identified by the authorities. Some of them escaped in a vehicle into the mountains following the Guardia Operation on Saturday morning.
In addition to the 4,200 kilograms of hashish seized, four cars plus 1,300 litres petrol were also impounded.
Fuel was used to fuel the vessel that brought in the drugs from south Spain.
Three smaller inflatables boats were also involved. One was found later in a cove near Benitatxell.
The other boat escaped on the sea.
Guardia Civil SIVE system alerted officers from Javea to intercept a boat travelling at high speeds towards La Granadella.
Three vans, a car and three inflatables arrived in the cove shortly before 4am Saturday morning.
Guardia surprised the occupants when they began unloading drugs.
Quick escapes were executed by suspects who fled in their cars or on foot.
Two vans with 105 bags of hashish remained on the scene.
Two detainees have been arrested after fleeing in cars, and one crew member has been detained at La Granadella.
