Amber Alert for Weather Increased AEMET has increased the warning for the Costa Del Sol to an amber alert due to the risk of thunderstorms, and the possibility of a tornado.

Weather Warnings Increased to Amber Alert
Amber alert has been raised to the severity level of this evening’s warning. Spain’s National Weather Agency (AEMET) warns “the possibility can’t be ruled-out” of a waterspout or tornado this evening (5th November). A yellow weather warning is in effect from 6pm to midnight. Thunderstorms can drop up to 30mm per hour of rain on the Costa Del Sol. Forecasts also include gale force 7 wind speeds up to 70km/h.
