From October 18 to Nov. 29, the Las Lagunas Tapas Route, in Mijas has begun its seventh year.
It’s delicious event features nine local establishments offering a tapa and drink (beer, house wine, soda, or water) for just €3.50 and seeks out who makes the best tapa in town. This year’s route is open daily at lunch and dinner for those who love to eat.
Las Lagunas Tapas Route – A tasty adventure with delicious perks
Participants can savour diverse tapas at venues like El Paseo Andaluz, Panaderia Las Torres, and others, including Circo, Las Tablinas, and Heladeria Sabor & Canela. El Paseo Andaluz, a newcomer to the tapas scene, debuts a delicious pork cheeks tapa that showcases true Andalusian flavors.
Mijas Town Hall offers a shuttle service on Saturdays between 12pm and 4pm or 7.30pm until 11.30pm. It covers seven stops.
Collect Stamps to Win Prizes on the Las Lagunas Tapas Route
At participating restaurants, diners can fill out their “tapaportes”, a free tapas passport. By gathering all seven stamps and submitting them at Teatro Manuel España (Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm), participants receive a direct gift (while supplies last) and enter a grand prize draw. “The tapas quality is outstanding, and at €3.50 for a tapa and drink, it’s unbeatable,” said regular attendee Maria Martin.
