The Kia EV4 hatchback is the first electric C-segment car from the Korean manufacturer, and is produced in Slovakia. The long-range model is powered by a battery of 81.4kWh, which can provide a range of up to 391, miles (WLTP), on a single charging, depending on driving conditions.
Standard battery is 58.3kWh. Both battery options drive a 150kW motor mounted on the front of the EV4. This allows it to accelerate from 0-60mph in 7.7 second (7.4 for standard battery), and reach a maximum speed of 105mph.

Fastbacks have a 490-litre luggage capacity. Both variants have Vehicle-to Load (V2L), which allows external devices to be powered, and Vehicle-to Grid (V2G), which allows energy to be shared.
As with any new vehicle, EV4 also comes with a comprehensive driver assistance system. It constantly monitors the environment using a network cameras and radars to detect any potential hazards.
The Kia App unlocks the EV4 and includes remote vehicle access, driver insights, maintenance tools, and more. OTA updates also enhance the functionality. Certain levels of access are included permanently. Some features may be free for a limited time, but after that expire become part of the subscription tiers.
Kia App allows drivers find charging stations and monitor their charging session. They can also plan routes with designated stops for charging. In the latest update of the EV Route planner, users can specify a target charging level directly on the map for their final destination as well as each charging stop selected throughout the journey. Kia drivers currently have access to over 1,000,000 public charging stations in Europe. The coverage of the continent is backed by partnerships with major charge point operators including IONITY, which offers high-power charging.
Google Places integrates navigation data such as parking availability, hours of operation, pricing, and reviews from users. Kia’s EV4 also features factory-installed internet navigation that allows customers to use the latest maps.
Digital Key 2 is also included in the EV4 and allows users to unlock their vehicle using a smartphone or smartwatch that’s compatible, instead of traditional keys. Kia Digital Key allows remote access to be shared with other people, like family or friends.
