Maps that lead to You
Maps that lead to You This glossy, romantic, and wanderlusting flick pairs Madelyn, who plays Heather, a plan-hungry character, with KJ, a breezy Kiwi. The film is an adaptation of the book by J.P. Monninger and has been directed by Lasse Hallström. The film has an amazing European backdrop and lots of chemistry. It will definitely make you cry and tug at your heartstrings. But, It can feel a bit rushed and the acting in some scenes is overdone. Prime Video is the best place to watch.
Las Muertas The Dead GirlsSeason One
Netflix’s Las Muertas This film dives deep into Mexico’s gritty 1960s underworld. In this world, the Baladro sister run a brothel. Based on Jorge Ibargüengoitia’s novel, it’s a fictionalised true crime tale heavy on sex, betrayal, and melodrama. Paulina Gaitán is magnetic as Serafina, torn between empire and passion, while Arcelia Ramírez simmers as her calculating sister. Dark humour, violence, and heavy sex scenes are not for everyone. The descent into corruption is still worth a watch. Chaotic and provocative.
