Police Nationale arrested a rent collector for violently removing squatters from a Toledo apartment.
Four ‘large’ men- hired to clear out three people- have also been detained.
The person responsible for collecting rent from tenants, along with the owner of the property, who lives overseas, devised a plan for the trio to be evicted for not paying for months.

Rent collector was actually the former partner of the owner. They hired four men at 7.30am to remove the squatters on July 13th.
The hooded men entered the building using a key provided by security.
The property was divided into rooms and rented out.
Three squatters had weapons pointed at them and were evicted so quickly that they couldn’t collect their belongings.
The men threatened to report what had happened, changed the lock on the front door and gave keys to all the tenants who paid rent.
The squatters did not heed the warnings. They filed a police complaint, and the Police National opened an investigation.
The officers discovered that the apartment has nine tenants.
Five detainees were charged with breaking and entering, coercion and four attackers with injury.
The authorities plan to bring the apartment owner before a court to answer for similar charges.
