Motorhome inferno in Benavista, Estepona

Residents of Benavista awoke to a shock on Sunday, July 20, with an enormous plume of black smoke rising from the automotive park of McDonalds.

A campervan, which seems to have taken a spot for the night time within the carpark, was on fireplace. The reason for the blaze, which began on the rear of the automobile, is unknown, though the explosion which locals are reporting suggests it may need had one thing to do with the gasoline bottle.

The response of the Estepona firefighters was speedy, however little could possibly be finished because the motorhome was shortly gutted by flames. The Fiat motorhome noticed its blaze extinguished inside 20 minutes, forsaking solely a blackened mess of melted plastic and steel.

There have been no studies of non-public loss, nor but of how the fireplace broke out. Fortunately, as a result of an absence of wind, the plume of black smoke the blaze produced didn’t have an effect on the A-7 motorway just a few metres from the blaze.
