The Fuzzy for Her from Burgos (central-north Spain) will be performing at Louie Louie on Saturday 26th July. The band’s music is a blend of 60s garage rock and psychedelia with a contemporary edge.
Comprising Raúl on guitar and vocals, Pedro on guitar, Ignacio, César, and Kike, the band will present their self-titled debut EP, recorded at Circo Perrotti Studios under the guidance of Jorge Explosión and released by Sweet Grooves Records. The six track EP has received a lot attention from Spain and beyond. With four songs in English and 2 in Spanish, it was featured on radio stations throughout Germany, France Greece Italy and the UK. Available on vinyl and digital platforms, the EP was introduced on Radio3’s El Sótano in May and continues to grab the attention of audiences.
The Fuzzy For Her, after seven years of playing covers and performing at major festivals in Spain, have developed a sound that evokes the rebellious, raw spirit of 60s Garage Rock while maintaining an “today’s” edge. Raúl explains, “We draw from garage rock but aim for a sound that feels both nostalgic and fresh.” Pedro, who co-writes the songs with Raúl, expresses gratitude for the underground venues like Louie Louie and Fan Club that provided the band with early opportunities to grow. Their passion for music and dedication to authentic rock ‘n’ roll will guarantee a memorable night. The concert at Louie Louie is open to all, with tickets priced at €10, available only at the door on Saturday, July 26, at 10pm. Louie Louie can be found next to Estepona Harbour.
