There have been concerns raised regarding the quality and safety of water from several fountains located in Manilva. Residents have complained that the water looks brown or cloudy. This has led to concerns about its safety.

A local group asked the city hall to act urgently and thoroughly analyse all water fountains. The aim is to confirm that the water is suitable for human consumption. Signs should be displayed to warn people if they find fountains with non-potable waters.

In a local photo, a fountain’s water was discoloured. Residents who use the fountains regularly, particularly during warmer months, have expressed concern over this image.

The locals’ request is straightforward. Locals demand that the water be tested quickly and communicated clearly in the event of a fountain not being suitable for drinking. This is a matter that affects public health, and it should be given priority.

Many choose to avoid the fountains completely until the test results are confirmed. Many have suggested temporary warning signs to be placed until the proper tests are complete.

Residents expect the town hall to respond quickly in order to ensure safety for everyone. Manilva has many fountains that are used by the public. They want to feel safe about their water.
