Benidorm Police seizes knives to stop gang violence on city streets


BENIDORM Police prevented a clash on the street between two Latino groups, by seizing knives from both sides including a large Machete.

Benidorm Policia Local Officers spotted about 20 youths – mostly Columbians – gathered in the Calle Murcia region of the town for a violent clash.

The police took knives, machetes as well as a cylinder with nitrous gas.

A large machete was impounded, and the men fled the area before they were stopped and searched.

Sources within the police force have confirmed that Todo Alicante It was avoided that there would be a fight over the settling of score.

No arrests were made because no fight occurred. However, a few people were fined for having knives.
