Mabrian, a tourist data analyst, has compiled the figures.
It is reported that 56.8% do not provide a mandatory registration number for the Valencian Region.

This is above the average national rate of 38%, but Mabrian stresses that a lack of a number does not mean a property has no license.
In Andalucia, Catalunya and 96.3% tourist homes have published details.
Contrarily, 86.5% in Madrid and 67.8% on the Balearics fail to declare a licence number.
The local government’s response to the problem is largely responsible for the large regional differences.
Carlos Cendra is Mabrian’s director of marketing. He said that the requirements for advertising tourist licenses on online rental platforms vary widely between regions.
This requirement is widely ignored in the Valencian Community including Alicante Province.
It is possible that some owners do not know the law.
According to Mabrian, the type of owner — whether it’s a private individual, small holder or large holder — doesn’t seem to really know whether to publish a license number in their adverts.
This suggests that law enforcement and its monitoring is what forces landlords to adhere to the rules, the study suggested.
The report calls for regional governments and local councils, to take stronger measures to ensure legality.
Some authorities, like Benidorm for instance, have increased their inspections and fines.
