Policia Nacional arrested a GANG that stole luxury watches in Alicante and Valencia.
Five unidentified people were arrested in Madrid and one in Cuenca. Two of them had been jailed prior to their trial.
The six detainees and a female intimidated their victim with a firearm.

In one incident, they struck a man with the weapon’s butt on the head before fleeing the scene on a motorcycle.
The police recovered the firearm, along with drugs and an expensive watch following raids on April 29,
After a violent robbery took place outside a nightclub in Alicante, investigations began in February.
The victim was snatched from the shop by two men, who then hit him on the head.
Two identical robberies were found in Alginet, (Valencia Province) a week later.
In both incidents, victims were robbed of their watches and threatened with a firearm. The thieves then fled on motorbikes.


The Policia Nacional described the gang as ‘highly specialised’ in their ability to quickly commit the robberies.
The experts had a great deal of experience in identifying the most valuable watches on the market and negotiating the best prices.
The Policia Nacional detained five Venezuelans in February who had robbed their victims in a very similar way, and used motorbikes for escape.
The latest arrests are not linked.
