Bold, bright, and impossible to ignore – Agatha Ruiz de la Prada’s world of colour has landed in Benalmadena. Her free exhibition at Centro de Exposiciones runs until 19th September 2025.

The Spanish designer blurs the lines between art and fashion with her bold prints and playful shapes. The Spanish designer’s creations are more like sculptures rather than clothing, which is why they are in a gallery. Every piece, from the oversized stars to the oversized hearts, is full of creativity and fun.

Agatha first made her mark in Madrid in the 1980s during the famous Movida Madrileña, a time when Spain’s art and fashion scene exploded with new energy. Since then, Agatha has become one Spain’s most famous designers. She’s shown her work in New York and Paris, Tokyo, as well as the Costa del Sol.

This exhibition is worth a visit, whether you are a fan of fashion, art or something else. This exhibition is colourful, unique and free. It’s a great way for you to spend an afternoon at Benalmadena.

The Centro de Exposiciones can be found on Avenida Antonio Machado. It is open every day except Sunday. No booking is necessary and entry is free.

Don’t miss your chance to see the world through Agatha Ruiz de la Prada’s eyes – it’s bold, joyful, and like nothing else you’ll find on the coast.
