Cristiano Ronaldo still has the fire at 40 and is attracting interest from European clubs.

In fact, the Portuguese icon has received one of most unexpected suggestions in his career. It comes with a Greek flair.

Ronaldo is invited to Greece by Panathinaikos: “Why not?”

The speculation surrounding the future of the Al-Nassr forward is increasing as his contract with Saudi Arabia nears its end this summer. Ronaldo has been negotiating a contract extension with Al Nassr. The Saudi club is keen to retain him until 2027.

Giorgos Kagounis (now 48) has revealed a new option for Cristiano Cristiano. It is Panathinaikos.

The five-time Ballon d’Or champion is still in Saudi Arabia until a decision has been made. This season, Ronaldo scored 32 goals and provided four assists in 36 matches. Currently earning around €200 million per year in Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo is reportedly set for a pay raise.

Ronaldo is more interested in regular competitive football than a lucrative salary. He hopes to lead Portugal to the World Cup in 2026, which could be his last major tournament.
