Malaga Airport Breaks Record For Passenger Numbers. The airport has surpassed its record of passengers during the first quarter 2025.

Malaga Airport Breaks Record For Passenger Numbers

In the first quarter this year, more travellers than ever passed through Malaga Airport.  The airport’s record of flights and passengers has been broken from January to the end of March.  Airport operator AENA reports that 4.8million passengers travelled to Malaga airport in the first three months of this year, a 6% growth over the same period last.  The number of flights also increased with 34,843 take-offs and landings.

The number of international travelers has increased. The airport has broken all previous records.  The number of Spanish passengers actually declined by 1.8% but the number for foreigners increased by 7.8%.
