Put another way, that works out to be a salary of around £480,000 (€555,000) per week.
Salah responded to a question about his new contract by saying: “It’s great that we were able to get it done early, even before the season ended. Hopefully Virgil and the rest of the team will be next.” Just saying ‘hopefully! “He can do what he wants, but I’d love to have him back here next year.”
