U3A International, the Marbella-based full-of life association for mature people, has opened a new chapter after its recent Ordinary Assembly.

The committee that has been in place for many years, and which was dedicated to encouraging personal fulfillment and camaraderie among members, has now resigned to pursue travel and new experiences. Details about the new committee can be found on U3A.international. Six volunteers joined U3A after reading an article in the newspaper last year.

U3A is a diverse group of 800 people from different countries, including British, Irish or Spanish nationals, but also global citizens such as Australians, Canadians and others.  International is still a hub for cosmopolitans. The association offers an array of activities, from bridge and hiking to cycling, birdwatching, tennis, and padel, across Marbella, Coín, and Alhaurín el Grande.

The programs are led by volunteers who have a passion for health and wellness. They are offered free of charge to members, beyond the modest annual fee.

The Big Quiz is coming up: Spring, Easter and the Easter Bunny. This event is full of friendship, fun and competition. Teams of six or more will compete in a quiz with general knowledge and topical questions. This event fosters camaraderie. The quiz is open to all members and a great way to celebrate. It will take place on Friday, 25th April at 5.30pm in the Hapimag Hotel Marbella. Register by clicking the following link link.
