Climbers flock to Estepona’s Rocodromo wall for a climbing challenge – CSN News

Rocodromo, Spain’s largest outdoor wall climbing wall attracts thrill seekers and climbing enthusiasts to Estepona.

The Parque Ferial Deportivo y de Ocio Permanente is home to this cutting-edge facility, which caters for all levels of climbers – from absolute beginners to seasoned pro’s.

Spanning an enormous 662 square metres, the Rocodromo is divided into specialised zones: 115 m² for speed climbing, 363 m² for more challenging ascents, and 184 m² dedicated to bouldering.

This impressive structure is the ideal venue for casual climbers, elite athletes and even hosts national and international events.

The structure is a 3D modeled, high-pressure steel wall, which is supported by an enormous 130-ton framework. It provides a rock-climbing-like experience within a controlled, safe environment.

The Rocodromo is run by Grupo de Montana de Estepona, which offers workshops and courses for all levels. No matter if you’re an absolute beginner or you want to fine-tune your skills, we have a class that will suit you.
