Guardia officers rushed into a home in Callosa d’en Sarria when a neighbor reported that two armed individuals were attempting to break into the house.

The Guardia responded quickly to the robbers’ attempts to escape.

The two planned to restrain their victim with duct tape, before fleeing the scene with the stolen goods.

They were planning to rent a large van for their trip.

The area was searched and a compressed-air pistol, two Tasers as well as three defensive sprays were found. All of these weapons were functional.

Other items found included a duct-tape roll, gloves, masks, balaclavas for concealing their identities, and a pair of mittens.
