Fundraising for an important cause. Credit: Age support Almanzora
On Mothering Sunday (30th March), the Age Support Almanzora center in Albox will host an Afternoon-Tea event starting at 2:30pm. Tea is served until 3pm. On arrival, guests will receive a glass or cava. They’ll then be served a variety of sandwiches, cakes and scones with either tea or coffee. The afternoon will be rounded off with a game, a raffle and some lighthearted fun. All proceeds go to support the Almanzora Valley charity.
Vanya, an event organizer, said that the purpose of this event was to spend time with those who were close to you while also raising money and helping our little charity. “I don’t think Mothering Sunday would be a good date, do you?”
Age Support Almanzora also welcomes donations of homemade pastries and cakes, which will either be sold at a raffle or sold to raise extra funds.
Tickets are €15 per person and will be available to purchase from the Age Support Almanzora office from Tuesday, 4th March.
