The Irish Association of Benalmadena is the organizer of the event. They have announced that certain times on the schedule have been changed, notably the traditional Irish procession, which will depart at 1pm from the Arroyo de la Miel railway station, with music, pipes and drums marching to the Plaza de la Mezquita. There, the festivities are already in full swing.
The day will be filled with a variety of performers, dancers and singers. BANDido will be playing at 12.30pm, followed by Dance & Dress at 2pm. Mama Cath and Her Soul Sisters will perform at 2pm on one stage, followed by Stephen Kelly at 4.30pm.
Birra y arte will provide bars that sell the best Guinness, as they do lager, for the non-believers, and soft drinks, water, etc. The event catering experts, mervensur.com will provide some of the best food for attendees.
Some people have to be at work the following day and many others will go to the pub opposite Benalmadena Station.
