Heavy Rain Helps Reservoirs Recover.  This week’s storms and torrential downpours have raised the water level in Malaga Province’s main reservoirs.

Heavy Rain Helps Reservoirs Recover

The water level at the reservoirs that supply Malaga Province, and the Costa Del Sol This week’s heavy rainfall has given the industry a much-needed boost.  The reservoirs are expected to recover enough so that there will be no water shortages in the summer.

The largest increase in the water level has been seen at the reservoir which supplies the Costa Del Sol. The water level in La Concepcion is now impressively at 75.81% of its capacity.  Last year, the water level was less than 25%.

The Embalse De Guadalhorce supplies Malaga In March of last year, the level was only 19.7%.

La Vinuela reservoir provides water to 14 towns There are 220,000 people living in the United States. Axarquia area.  In March last, the water levels in the reservoirs reached 7.8% capacity.  Currently, the water level is 26.67% capacity.
