Since 1989, PAWS-PATAS is a lifeline to animals that have been abandoned or mistreated.
This charity is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs and cats from Mojacar, and the surrounding area, and making sure they get the love and care they deserve.
PAWS-PATAS depends entirely on the generosity and kindness of donors and volunteers to continue its lifesaving work.
More help is urgently required, as evidenced by the recent rise in rescues.
PAWS-PATAS can be supported in many ways:
Volunteering – The charity is in desperate need of more volunteers to assist with dog walking, fundraising, transport, and shelter maintenance. Even a few extra hours can make a big difference.
Fostering – Providing a temporary home for a rescued dog or cat not only frees up space at the shelter but also gives the animals the chance to adjust to a loving environment before finding a permanent home.
Donations – Financial contributions are vital to cover veterinary costs, food, and shelter upkeep. Each donation, however small, has a direct impact on the lives of animals.
Supplies – The shelter urgently needs dog food, bedding, and other essential items. Supplies donations can ensure that animals are properly cared for.
PAWS-PATAS volunteers and PAWS remain dedicated despite the challenges. The charity is committed to its mission. Every dog that is saved means a changed life. But they can’t do it all by themselves.
