A new class at Bedar Arts Centre is perfect for those who are passionate about pottery, or want to learn the basics of carving and relief.

Maya Doerr, an artist and ceramicist, is starting a pottery group that will meet for four sessions. The focus of the group will be on decorating and glazing tiles. The sessions will take place in early April and March. They are a practical introduction to using clay and exploring different relief carving techniques. This course is for everyone, regardless of whether you’re looking to design an original house sign or want to experiment with tile artistry.

Bedar Arts Centre offers you the opportunity to create your own tiles.

Participants will be taught essential techniques such as shaping, carving, glazing, and firing to ensure they have a finished tile. The sessions are scheduled for March 13 from 10:30 until 13:30.The thMarch 20The thThe 27th of MarchThe thApril 3rd. The cost of €150 includes all materials, firing, and glazes, with coffee and snacks provided.

This course is held at the picturesque Bedar Arts Centre. It offers an inviting and creative environment to explore the pottery world. Booking early is recommended because spaces are limited.
